<course description>

The purposes of this course are:

 1. To provide a basic understanding of the policy process upon which civic participation can be built.

 2. To develop a critical perspective on the policy process and policy actors.

 3. To develop the student's ability to analyze policy issues and utilize these skills when discussing or participating in civic activities.
